STEREO fans often ask me who does what in the band... would I name the singer,

the instrumentalists and so on?

So... I'm the musician, playing all the instruments except saxes

(and having had just a little help from supplementary keyboardists on the first album).

I'm also the main composer; Bernie writes the melodies for half the songs,

and pens almost all the lyrics.

Though Bernie doesn't play an instrument, he's a great melodist, and in my view

a singer is a musician.

I arrange and programme the songs, from top to bottom, in Cubase recording software;

I make the demos and, finally, we produce together in a studio

(or, on the new album, we co-produce with Ralf Beck).

So I hope this gives you a clearer idea of how things work -  in Stereo! - between us.
